About me...

I'm a cozy kind of girl..... 

I'm having the time of my life making a home for my husband and me, and our two male monkeys ;-)

I'm also a professional singer... bouncing around from singing early Renaissance polyphony in an old church one day, to full-scale opera productions on a world-class stage the next. 

I met Mr. Shabby on our first day of college at a music conservatory... 
if music be the food of love, then I think we're all set.

When I'm not singing, baking or decluttering, I'm at the thrift store, on a hunt for my next treasure. 

Or at Target, attempting to stick to my list... and failing..... 

I love our shabby little house, despite its "issues"... and I'm having a blast on this slow journey of turning it into the house of our dreams, in a DIY time-frame, on a DIY budget.
